St. Peter and St. Paul, Saltwood and St. Stephen Lympne are two separate Church of England parishes in the Diocese of Canterbury under the care of the same Priest-in-Charge. There is also a Chapel of Ease at Pedlinge. Whilst retaining our own identities, we share some activities together. Many of those who worship here live locally but we offer a warm welcome to all visitors, including children, and there are refreshments after our main morning services at both churches. At Lympne we have many couples who worship with us to establish a qualifying connection for marriage (see the weddings pages).

In order to provide better information to regular worshippers and visitors alike, we have recently changed the ‘look and feel’ of the site. You can find information common to both parishes (such as faith and life events) in the  menu above, whilst information particular to each church (such as service times, news and upcoming events) is listed individually under St. Peter & St. Paul, Saltwood or St. Stephen, Lympne.

May the Mind of Jesus
      renew my mind.
May the Wisdom of Jesus
      enlighten my thoughts.
May the Words of Jesus
be in my ears and on my lips.
May the Heart of Jesus
      beat with my heart.
May the Cross of Jesus
      be my strength.
May the forgiveness of Jesus
      free me from sin.
May the healing of Jesus
      bring me to wholeness.
May the Peace of Jesus
      still all my fears.
May the love of Jesus
      fill my whole being.
May the Risen Jesus enrich me
with joy, hope and new life.
