Recently Jo Burn, from Radio Kent, visited the church to glean some information,  primarily about the environmentally friendly heating system but also to investigate how it will affect the use of the church.

The refurbishment project is progressing but not as fast as we would like.  

 

Ground Source Heating is so popular, we are waiting in-line for a boring machine to become available to bore our holes.  At present, it may not be until August that the rumbling of caterpillar tracks will be heard around the church.

 

Fundraising is also progressing but we still need help.

Remember, we need more funds to complete the refurbishment.  

 

At present, we have an £70,000 short-fall excluding the VAT we need to pay, although we

will be able to claim much of the VAT back from the government.
